Flaménoir aroma is a luxury candle brand born from the heartfelt letters and stories exchanged between me and my mother. These letters—filled with love, wisdom, and encouragement—formed the emotional backbone of the brand. Each candle is not just a scent, but a chapter—a moment in time pulled from our life’s narrative.
From childhood memories like picking plums with your mother under the Mississippi sun, to the bittersweet depth of life, Flaménoir captures emotion through fragrance. Every launch tells a story.
Our first scent, “Velvet Ink,” was born from a childhood memory. I can still remember the way my mother smelled as she walked out the door—elegant, warm, unforgettable. Her scent lingered for hours, like a hug that stayed with me. It was the beginning of my love for fragrance—and the heart of Flaménoir.
The brand name, Flaménoir, is symbolic:
Flamé represents the warmth, spirit, and intimacy of a flame.
